Jasprit Bumrah Faces Bouncers From Yuvraj Singh on Instagram

With no cricket going on,  Many cricketers have also been proactive on their social media in the past few weeks due to the lockdown. Many cricketers are using the lockdown as an opportunity to engage with their fans. India pacer Jasprit Bumrah joined hands with former Mumbai Indians teammate and world cup winning all-rounder Yuvraj Singh for an Instagram live session between them.

India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah hails MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh for their ability to finish games. He feels is difficult to pick between them. Bumrah expressing his thoughts as he exampled that picking between MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh is like choosing between his mother and father.

While answering to Yuvraj during their Instagram Live session, Bumrah said,  “I cannot pick one, choosing between Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni is like choosing between mum and dad. I have seen you both winning so many games for India. So, it”s really a difficult question.”

The man of the tournament in the 2011 World Cup put Jasprit Bumrah on the spot. The middle-order southpaw asked him to choose between Ravichandran Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh. Bumrah decided to go for Harbhajan Singh, somebody he has grown up watching over Ashwin whom he has played with. “I have been playing with Ashwin. But, I have watched Harbhajan since childhood and also played with him. So, I will pick him,”  explained Bumrah.

Bumrah avoided the question when asked to pick between Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. Later on, he picked Tendulkar after much insistence over Kohli. “Everyone is a fan of Sachin paaji. So, I will pick him,” Bumrah said. During the chat, Bumrah also mentioned how he made sure to perform well in the domestic circuit to make it into the national team and not just focus on IPL.
