Jasprit Bumrah feels nostalgic after watching a Pakistan kid copying his bowling action

In a very short period of time, the 24-year-old Indian right-arm pacer Jasprit Bumrah becomes one of the most dependable bowlers in the national team. While he is now one of the most popular international pacers, a Pakistan kid has impressed him by copying his bowling action.

Apart from being a very consistent bowler, Jasprit Bumrah is also famous in the international cricket for his strange bowling action, which is very uncommon in international cricket. Recently, a video has proved that Bumrah is not just only a popular bowler in India, his popularity has spread in Pakistan too.

Recently, a video has been shared on Twitter that claimed a five-year-old Pakistan kid was intimating Bumrah’s bowling action.

The Twitter handling name Umair Afridi posted that video and wrote, “5 Years Old kid from pak is a big fan of Bumrah.. after watching him in the recently concluded Asia cup every time he tries to bowl like him.@Jaspritbumrah93 @Cricketracker @ZAbbasOfficial @MazherArshad”

Later, Bumrah watched that video and felt nostalgic.

The Indian pacer replied, “As a kid, I remember how I used to copy the actions of my cricketing heroes. It’s a wonderful feeling to see kids copying my action today.#childhoodflashbacks #Grateful #nostalgia”

Bumrah is currently the top-ranked ODI bowler. Making his international cricket debut in January 2016, the right-arm pacer has played six Tests, 41 ODIs and 35 T20Is, where he has taken a total of 143 wickets – 28 wickets in Test (average 25.57), 72 wickets in ODI (average 21.77) and 43 wickets in T20I (average 19.93).

After playing the Asia Cup 2018 in UAE in last month, where Bumrah picked up eight wickets in four games (average 16.00), he was rested in the recently concluded two-match home Test series against Windies. Currently, he has been also rested for the first two games of the five-match home ODI series against Windies.
