The premier Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah has become a lethal bowler with each passing match and the thing that makes him even more dangerous is that he offers the same impact in all the formats. On a pitch where the Australian pacers had to work hard for two whole days just to pick 7 Indian wickets, Bumrah has looked a class apart, spitting fire with his bounce and pace. His variations have left the Australian batsmen bamboozled and Shaun Marsh’s dismissal perfectly sums it up.
Marsh was looking well settled after facing 60 deliveries. However, he just could not handle the stunning slower delivery from Bumrah. He bowled a dipping slower yorker which was well on the stumps. The Australia batsman failed to pick the delivery and consequently failed to bring his bat down on time. The ball went on to rap Marsh on his pads as umpire Ian Gould raised his dreaded finger.

It was the last ball before Lunch. Marsh would’ve already switched off going into the break. Bumrah knew and bowled one that he hadn’t done all through the day. It was well disguised, spot on with the length and more importantly took the pacer out of it to give the southpaw no chance to save himself.
Just this one ball shows how impeccable this Indian pace battery is where they are not just able to outplay the opponent with the skills but also outthink them well before the ball is actually bowled. Team India bundled out Australia for a meager score of 151 and Bum rah was the highest wicket-taker for India, with 6 wickets under his belt. He picked the bones out of the Australian batsmen.
