In a heartwarming gesture, Jay Shah, the Honorary Secretary of BCCI, granted the wishes of 12,000 patients grappling with serious health issues like Cancer and Thalassemia, along with their families and even Blood Donors and Blood Donation Camp Organizers. They were invited to witness yesterday’s enthralling IPL 2024 match between the Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals live at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

This extraordinary act not only brought smiles to the faces of these individuals but also shed light on the challenges faced by those battling cancer and thalassemia. It provided them with a much-needed day of enjoyment and diversion from their daily struggles. The atmosphere at the stadium was filled with excitement and camaraderie as they cheered for their favourite teams, creating a unique and uplifting ambience.

Meanwhile, in the 32nd match of the Indian Premier League, the home team Gujarat Titans faced another setback against Delhi Capitals. Batting first, GT encountered early troubles, losing skipper Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha quickly. Despite efforts from all-rounder Rashid Khan, the hosts were bowled out for a mere 89 runs.

In response, the DC openers took charge right from the outset, capitalizing on the fielding restrictions.
