Indian Women’s cricket star, Jemimah Rodrigues, recently took to Instagram to express her disappointment at not being able to secure tickets for the highly anticipated Coldplay concert at the DY Patil Stadium in January 2025. In a heartfelt six-slide post, Jemimah shared her frustration. The first image showed her staring at DY Patil Stadium from a window at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, with the stadium illuminated at night. The shot beautifully captured her longing to be at the concert. The second slide depicted a screenshot of the booking interface, showing a massive waiting list, leaving her with little hope of getting a ticket.

Her caption in Hindi, “Jiss din DY Patil mein enter karne ke liye ticket chahiye tha, usi din nahi mila yaar” (The day I needed a ticket to enter DY Patil, I couldn’t get one), humorously conveyed her disappointment. The rest of the post continued with light-hearted images, including fictional animals shedding tears, further emphasizing her sadness.

On the cricket front, Jemimah has a busy schedule ahead with the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 fast approaching. Although her debut season in the Women’s Caribbean Premier League didn’t go as planned, managing only 105 runs in five innings for the Trinbago Knight Riders, she has the opportunity to sharpen her form in the upcoming warm-up matches.
