The second Test will start on Thursday. However, Joe Root said that England would again make a public plea to help the game get rid of discrimination as well. “Yes, we will,” Joe Root said during his press conference on Wednesday. “We have committed to making a positive change in our sport. That doesn’t change just because of what’s happened. We have to face up to things.”

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday has backed the pacer and said that the ECB had gone “over the top” about the seamer and asked the ECB to reconsider the decision as well.
