This self-funded golf trip comes as part of the team’s strategy to unwind and recharge ahead of the crucial Test match. While some players chose golf for relaxation, others have different plans, emphasizing the diverse preferences within the team.

In terms of the series itself, India has already secured victory by winning the second, third, and fourth Tests, making the fifth Test more of a formality. The series began on a challenging note for India, losing the first Test in Hyderabad to Ben Stokes-led England.
