In his tweet, Jonty Rhodes expressed appreciation for the fan’s support but also suggested that he should find other pursuits. This reply from Rhodes prompted the fan to respond once more on the platform, clarifying his position. Rhodes then provided further clarification regarding his initial tweet.

Responding to the fan’s query about calling him jobless, Jonty Rhodes recounted his experience with survivors of acid attacks. He apologized if his words had caused offense, shedding light on the resilience of these survivors who face immense challenges in seeking justice.

“Please tell me where I said you are jobless? Don’t tag me in your countdown, if you don’t want an honest response. I have spent time with acid attack survivors at Sheroes Hangout, here in Lucknow. These incredible young women have to wait between 5-7yrs before the perpetrators of these terrible atrocities even get to court to face justice. These ladies, I have lots of time for, as they ask for nothing, other than for us to see them as people, who can still contribute to society. They are on day 1500, and still counting, so think about their countdown, before making an issue about yours. However, I am sorry if I offended you,” Jonty Rhodes tweeted.

In the realm of cricket, Lucknow Super Giants have been showcasing formidable form in the ongoing IPL 2024 season. With four games under their belt, the team has secured three victories, with only one loss, which occurred in their season opener against Rajasthan Royals.
