Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener, Jos Buttler has grabbed a lot of limelight with his consistent performances in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The right-handed batter is currently leading the charts from winning the Orange Cap and no other batter is even close to him on the list. Jos Buttler has already smashed three centuries in IPL 2022.
Almost every bowler has had a tough time bowling against him this year. But now Jos Buttler has named the one bowler who troubles him the most in powerplay overs. In the powerplay overs are the strong point of Buttler because he does not allow any bowler to settle in the middle and attacks them straightaway. However, he finds it difficult to hit big against Gujarat Titans vice-captain Rashid Khan.
In a recent interview with ESPNCricinfo, Buttler named Rashid Khan as the bowler who troubles him the most in the first six overs.
As mentioned ahead, Jos Buttler has a massive lead over the other batters in the IPL 2022 Orange Cap race. Former Indian opener, Aakash Chopra heaped praise on him in a recent video on his YouTube channel.
On the video, Aakash Chopra said, “Jos baba, how well you hit. He converted the ball into a flying saucer. He has already hit three centuries, two back-to-back, stop yaar. Just the Jos thing, just the boss thing. Jos is serving piping hot. Everyone else is on one side and Buttler is in a different Orange Cap fight.”
It will be interesting to see which bowler can stop Jos Buttler in IPL 2022. When Rajasthan Royals battled Gujarat Titans, Lockie Ferguson bamboozled the prolific batter with a perfect yorker. Buttler could not last beyond the powerplay in that contest, and the Royals suffered a defeat at the hands of the Titans.
