Rajasthan Royals (RR) are locking horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 10th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. After winning the toss, the MI skipper, Rohit Sharma asked RR to bat first as it has been a pattern in the tournament as none of the captains have opted to bat first. In the second innings, the RR batter, Jos Buttler took an outstanding diving catch to send back Daniel Sams on the first ball he faced.

On the second ball of the 16th over, Yuzvendra Jos Buttler Chahal completed his second wicket of the over as he dismissed Tim David on the first ball. He bowled a full-length googly to Sams, he didn’t had much room to smack the ball hard and as a result, he only managed to slice the ball in the air.

Jos Buttler was standing at the cover and he ran towards mid-off, away from the pitch and facing the boundary as the ball was going over his shoulder. Then threw his body forward, offering some hang time, before completing the catch on his way down. Earlier in the game, RR set a daunting target of 194 runs for MI owing to a brilliant century from Jos Buttler and useful contributions from Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer.
