The Delhi Capitals team have been doing exceptionally well in IPL 2021 with 6 wins in 8 games as well. Meanwhile, pace-spearhead Kagiso Rabada feels that there are “no easy games” going to happen in the tournament not even against a struggling and placed at the bottom of the points table team as well.
However, after the victory, Kagiso Rabada said that the “atmosphere is great” in their dressing room, where several youngsters are playing. Meanwhile, they are out of their regular skipper Shreyas Iyer due to injury and Rishabh Pant has been leading the team as well.
“The atmosphere is great [at] the moment, it is a young team and we have come off some good performances. There are no easy games in the IPL, even against you guys, it was not an easy game,” Kagiso Rabada said to Punjab Kings’ stand-in captain Mayank Agarwal in a video posted on the IPL website.

However, Kagiso Rabada claimed three scalps in the game which also included two in the powerplay and one at the death overs as well. He got the prized scalp of in-form Chris Gayle when he rattled his stumps soon after the left-hander smashed a maximum. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old also applauded Agarwal for his brilliant knock of 99* which helped Punjab Kings put up a massive total, but it was chased down comfortably by the Delhi Capitals batters.
“It was great to get that wicket of Gayle, two wickets in the powerplay makes it tough for the batting team. You (Agarwal) batted really well, dropped at deep-point, and it turned out to be your day. You whacked me for two sixes,” Kagiso Rabada added further.
However, with this win, Rishabh Pant led side has moved to the top of the points table with 12 points in 8 games. They will next play against the Kolkata Knight Riders team on Saturday as well.
