New Zealand cricket star Kane Williamson and his wife, Sarah Raheem, are overjoyed to welcome their third child into the world, as announced by Williamson on his Instagram. The 33-year-old batsman shared the heartwarming news and expressed immense gratitude for the safe arrival of their newborn daughter.
In a post filled with parental happiness, Williamson wrote, “And then there was 3 đ Welcome to the world beautiful Girl. So grateful for your safe arrival and the exciting journey ahead â¤ď¸.”

This joyful addition is the second daughter for the couple, joining her elder sibling born in 2020, along with a son welcomed into their lives in 2022. Williamson recently took paternity leave during the T20I series against Australia, where New Zealand faced a 0-3 defeat. The team is now preparing for the upcoming Test series starting on February 29, 2024. Kane is set to rejoin the squad for the first time after the birth of his new child.

The prolific batsman displayed outstanding form during the recent two-Test series against South Africa, emerging as the highest run-scorer with 403 runs. His exceptional contribution played a crucial role in New Zealand securing their first-ever Test series victory against the Proteas.
Throughout this remarkable tour, Williamson achieved a significant milestone by notching up his 30th, 31st, and 32nd Test centuries. This stellar performance elevated him to the 11th position on the list of cricketers with the most Test centuries in history, leaving him just one century shy of matching former England batter Alastair Cook in the top 10.

Before Kane Williamson’s illustrious career, the record for the most centuries by a New Zealander in Test cricket was held by Martin Crowe, who scored 17 centuries in 77 matches.
Both Williamson and Tim Southee are on the cusp of reaching the milestone of playing 100 Test matches for New Zealand. With the upcoming series against Australia, these two veterans will join the exclusive list of players who have represented the Kiwi side in 100 or more Test matches. Currently, only five players have achieved this feat in New Zealand cricket history.
