Gujarat Titans (GT) batter Kane Williamson has showered praises on the youngster Shubman Gill ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Williamson spoke through the GT social media handles and called Shubman a strong competitor in all forms of the game. Asked about Gill by the GT fans, Williamson said that Gill had a lot of potential to learn from the leaders in the dressing room and could add that to the excellent understanding of his game.

Gujarat Titans have a strong line-up in the tournament once again. According to former Australia captain Aaron Finch, Gujarat has one of the strongest and most varied fast bowling line-ups in the game and can wreak havoc in any surface of the subcontinent. Finch also spoke about the team’s middle order, which he thinks is the most explosive unit in IPL 2023.

One of the members of the middle-order, Kane Williamson is also coming off sensational form, albeit in the longest format of the game. Williamson recently dented Sri Lanka’s hopes of reaching the World Test Championship Final with a sensational century and a double ton in a 2-Test match series played between the sides.

The batter was asked about one bowler he would have liked to face in his playing days. The right-hander replied that, it would be the late Shane Warne.
