On Thursday, legendary Indian cricketer, Kapil Dev showered huge praises on the Indian skipper Virat Kohli saying that he never expected that somebody could come close to the standard set by the legendary batsman, Sachin Tendulkar. Feroz Shah Kotla Cricket Stadium got renamed after former union minister, Arun Jaitley, who took his last breath last month. During the same event, a new pavilion stands at Delhi’s famous cricket venue was also named after Kohli.
AS per the quotes in ANI, Kapil said, “Kohli has to go a long way. It is not right to talk about him in the middle of his career. But what he has given to us is unparallel. Never expected that somebody can come close to Sachin Tendulkar whom we think is the ultimate but Kohli has taken the game to a different level.”
