Karun Nair’s journey to this moment has been remarkable. After parting ways with Karnataka, he reinvented himself at Vidarbha, delivering a staggering 863 runs in just nine innings in Ranji Trophy 2024, second only to teammate Yash Rathod. His explosive T20 form was equally impressive, scoring 255 runs in SMAT 2024 at a blistering strike rate of 177.08.

However, his Vijay Hazare Trophy campaign was the real showstopper, where he piled up an incredible 779 runs in eight matches at an unheard-of average of 389.50.
