Fresh off a sensational domestic season with Ranji Trophy champions Vidarbha, Nair joined DC’s pre-season training camp with immense confidence. His exploits across formats were nothing short of extraordinary—he emerged as Vidarbha’s top-scorer in both the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20) and Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A), while also amassing over 800 runs in the Ranji Trophy.

His stellar performances caught the attention of franchises, and now he has a golden opportunity to showcase his form on the IPL stage. To celebrate his arrival, Delhi Capitals rolled out the red carpet with a K.G.F.-themed welcome video, portraying Nair as “Rocky Bhai.” The electrifying clip, shared on DC’s social media, went viral instantly, drawing massive engagement and hyping up his return.

Karun Nair’s journey to this moment has been remarkable. After parting ways with Karnataka, he reinvented himself at Vidarbha, delivering a staggering 863 runs in just nine innings in Ranji Trophy 2024, second only to teammate Yash Rathod. His explosive T20 form was equally impressive, scoring 255 runs in SMAT 2024 at a blistering strike rate of 177.08.
