Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) campaign In Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 ended on Friday, November 6. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated them by six wickets in the Eliminator at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The game was a low-scoring affair, but still, the match went right down to the wire. In the end, the Orange Army won with a couple of balls to spare.

After RCB won the toss, they only managed to reach a total of 131 runs on the backs of AB de Villiers’ half-century. During the run-chase, SRH lost a few early wickets. However, Kane Williamson and Jason Holder didn’t let the pressure get the better of them. Both the batters stayed unbeaten and took the Sunrisers through to Qualifier 2 to be played on November 8.

Meanwhile, England’s Kate Cross and Alex Hartley had a hilarious banter on Twitter after RCB’s exit from the tournament. The latter is an RCB fan and she felt bad when Virat Kohli and his men failed yet another time. She took to Twitter and wrote, “We made one hell of a game out of it. @RCBTweets Will we ever win a title? #IPL2020 #SRHvRCB.”

Cross, who is a fan of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) trolled her national teammate in a hilarious manner. Cross replied with the picture of MS Dhoni, saying ‘Definitely Not’.

Hartley has followed the RCB and has been one of their ardent supporters. Earlier, she showered praises on Yuzvendra Chahal for his masterful spell of bowling and also reckoned that RCB have the potential to go all the way through to lifting the title.

She was also delighted after Virat Kohli came out to open the innings in the Eliminator, though the latter perished cheaply. She wrote, “Virat Kohli opening the batting @RCBTweets #RCBvsSRH #IPL2020.”

Hartley didn’t forget to wish Kohli on his 32nd birthday. She had tweeted, “It’s a very special day for all us RCB fans. Wishing @imVkohli a Happy Birthday @RCBTweets #PlayBold #Kohli #ViratKohli.”

She also has had quite a few hilarious conversations with Cross, who has supported CSK throughout. Unfortunately for Cross, CSK failed to even qualify for the playoffs.
