Keshav Maharaj and Lerisha tied the knot in April 2022, with Lerisha, a skilled Kathak dancer, hailing from India, similar to her star cricketer husband.

The couple’s love story blossomed through mutual connections, eventually leading to their decision to embark on the journey of marriage. Keshav Maharaj, who made his international debut in November 2016 in a Test match against Australia, has been a consistent performer for the Proteas.

With 49 Tests, 44 ODIs, and 27 T20Is under his belt, Maharaj has been a valuable asset in all formats. In Test cricket, he has scalped 158 wickets at an average of 31.99, while in ODIs, he boasts 55 wickets at 30.65.
The 33-year-old spinner has also made a notable impact in T20Is, claiming 24 wickets at a commendable economy rate of 7.39. Known for his all-around skills, Maharaj has showcased his batting prowess in Test matches, amassing five half-centuries, with a highest score of 84.
