Currently, the two Indian Premier League (IPL) giants Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are locking horns with each other at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After winning the toss, the CSK skipper, MS Dhoni decided to bowl first citing the dew factor. Mumbai had a rough start as they lost Quinton de Kock in the third over of the match itself.

During the toss, the MI skipper, Rohit Sharma revealed that they have made two changes in the squad with Mitchel McClenaghan and Mayank Markande made way for Jason Behrendroff and Rahul Chahar. On the other hand, CSk made only one change as Mohit Sharma replaced Mitchell Santner.

After losing De Kock early, Mumbai failed to get back the momentum as they lost Rohit as well in the 8th over of the game. However, then came the moment of brilliant from Ambati Rayudu in the very next over bowled by Imran Tahir to dismiss none other than Yuvraj Singh. After his dismissal, Krunal Pandya added 62 runs with Surya Kumar Yadav for the fourth wicket. However, the former got out in the 17th over and Yadav followed him in the next over of Dwayne Bravo.

In the final over bowled by Bravo, Pollard and Pandya smashed as many as 29 runs and one of the three sixes in the over, came off a no-ball and took Mumbai to a respectable toa fo 170/5. 

During the chase, Chennai lost both their openers in the first two over itself, however, after that, Suresh Raina made a good 27 runs with Kedar Jadhav for the third wicket but was also got dismissed in the fifth over itself owing to a brilliant catch at deep cover by Pollard.

On the final ball of the over, Raina made a bit of room for himself and slapped the length ball ferociously toward’s Pollard’s direction. Who was standing a few yards inside the point boundary. The ball was traveling at a high pace, and despite being over his head, Pollard jumped and grabbed it with one hand almost behind him. Despite tumbling off after that, he managed to hold on to the ball.
