The IPL fever is soaring higher and higher in the country. Everyone watching is divided into the fandom for the game and each has a team whom its loyalty is attached. The various parts of the team identity are majorly the region which it represents, its players, the team owners, the team logo, the team and the team anthem. Kolkata Knight Riders are out with their latest team anthem after having “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo” for the first ten years.
The new team anthem was released a week back from the official youtube channel of the Kolkata Knight Riders. The video titled “KKR HAI TAIYAAR | VIVO IPL 2018” is already taken up by the fans and at the time of writing the current views on the video are more than 920K. The fandom has loved the video with more than 16K likes, it features the key aspects of Kolkata, its team color purple and its worshipped owner Shah Rukh Khan.
The video begins with the former war-cry of “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo” and then breaks into the narrative of KKR being taiyaar (ready) for the game. The one-minute video if full of purple color and shows the fans dancing on the tunes from every corner of the city of joy. One line that sticks out from the video is “Yeh Dikhate to gyara hai par karod hai taiyaar” (Only eleven can be seen, but millions are ready).
