The flamboyant, Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Hardik Pandya is currently busy preparing for the upcoming 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, which is slated to get underway on September 19. The flamboyant right-hander on Saturday took to Instagram to share a picture, where he can be seen wearing his training kit and zany sunglasses.

Captioning picture on Instagram along with some emojis, Hardik wrote: “When I mean business”. However, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) skipper, KL Rahul, who is known for sharing to share a very close bond with the all-rounder, saw the picture in a slightly different light.

Commenting on Hardik’s picture, along with emojis, Rahul wrote: “U look ready for the beach”.

Hardik’s older brother, Krunal Pandya also commented on the picture. All their friends and social media banter aside, both Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul will be looking to give their 100% during the upcoming season of the tournament, which was originally scheduled to take place at the end of March due to the coronavirus pandemic, finally begins.

While Hardik Pandya is one of the key players for defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI), Rahul will be leading KXIP  for the first time in the 2020 edition. Hardik recently said that he is not feeling nervous at all, and is simply excited to get out on the field and do what he loves.

Talking about the same, as per the quotes in ANI, Hardik Pandya said, “More excited than nervous because a good 10 months I have been training and looking forward to play so the portion where the nervousness comes or the pressure comes has gone away. I am just more excited to be on the field and implement what I have worked on with regards to my training part, the practice sessions.”

This year’s edition of the IPL is scheduled to be taking place in UAE, due to the rise in coronavirus cases in India. The schedule for the tournament is slated to be released on Sunday. The final will be played on November 10.
