The flamboyant Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has come under a little bit of fire from his teammate KL Rahul, who has made a candid confession that the Hardik is ‘scary’ accompany to hang out with. Rahul made his comments in the talk show ‘What the Duck 3’ in which he appeared along with India’s premier off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.

During the chat, Rahul said, “It is scary to hang out with Hardik Pandya. There was a time before a match, me, him and Dinesh Karthik headed out to clear our minds. The next day, he spilled everything to Virat (Kohli). I became scared and asked him why would he go ratting up to the captain! He does not know what to say when. He has no filter.”

Both Hardik and Rahul are one of the most emerging Indian cricketers and have a long way ahead. The duo will continue to share the dressing room for many years to come and these sort of friendly banters are something which further strengthens the ties between the two players. Hardik and Rahul will be featuring in the limited-overs series against England. While Pandya retained his place in the team, Rahul made his comeback to the ODI side.

This is not the first time that an Indian cricketer has spoken about Pandya’s unpredictable behavior. India skipper Virat Kohli also has in the past highlighted how Pandya looked ‘lost’ and would not ‘think before’ speaking, in a talk show.

During his appearance on the show, ‘Breakfast with Champions’, Virat said, “Pandya is one of the entertaining members in the team. But, I haven’t seen anyone as lost as Pandya in my life. Pandya doesn’t think before speaking. Once he wanted to take Ash’s (Ashwin) name but he ended up saying – ‘Ravikashyap Ashwin kya bowling karta hai yar’. He is very good at heart but he doesn’t have any control over his tongue.”
