In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 so far, he has amassed 331 runs with the help of four-half-centuries as he also donning the orange cap. Rahul’s opening partner and one of his good friends, Mayank Agarwal, can be expected to lead the team further in the tournament.
While Mayank Agarwal seems to have limited captaincy experience, it is worth noting that a minor injury forced him to miss Punjab’s last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
