KL Rahul Is The Happiest man After Mayank Agrawal’s Debut

On Tuesday, the Indian team management announced the playing XI for the third Test against Australia and according to that Mayank Agarwal had to make an international debut who replaced Prithvi Shaw in the squad. They dropped both the struggling openers KL Rahul and Murali Vijay and promoted Hanuma Vihari to assist Agarwal at the top. Agarwal received his debut Test cap by the skipper Virat Kohli moments before the game started.

In the playing XI, Agarwal has replaced his Karnataka teammate Rahul and impressed straightaway showing no signs of nerves of steel against the likes of Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood. Moreover, he looked confident during his stay at the crease and didn’t let the occasion get over his mind. Mayank continued playing the same way in which he played for India A in New Zealand recently and smacked a half-century in his first outing for his country.

Mayank was dismissed after scoring 76 runs just when a three-figure score was there for the taking. Pat Cummins strangled the 295th Test player for India down the leg-side to cut short his impressive stay in the middle.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul has expressed his elation as his best friend Agarwal made his international debut. He was happy and proud to see him play for the country and hoped that he will only improve and play well from here on to bring laurels to India.
