The much-talked-about animated exchange between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka and KL Rahul has sparked intense debate among cricket fans. While discussions about Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma’s explosive performances at the Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad filled the air, the spotlight quickly shifted to Goenka’s stern demeanour during his interaction with Rahul.
The chat took place after Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) chased down LSG’s target of 166 runs in just 9.5 overs, leaving many speculating that Goenka was “schooling” the LSG skipper. Goenka later clarified that the conversation was normal, yet the incident left many of KL Rahul’s supporters calling for a change.
