The Indian opener, who recently tied the knot with Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty, visited the renowned Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple in Ujjain ahead of the third Test scheduled to commence on March 1 in Indore. They were seen worshipping in the temple while donning traditional attire in a video that surfaced on Sunday.

The flamboyant cricketer was removed as the deputy skipper for the remainder of the series, making the fans question his place in the side for the upcoming third Test in Indore, commencing March 1. While former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri acknowledged Rahul’s exploits as a batter, he felt that form plays an important role as well, and the management cannot hold back young players who are in good form.
