Despite the high intensity, Rahul remained composed and focused during his batting session, showcasing his trademark fluency and shot execution. Adding humor to the intense atmosphere, Rahul shared a video on social media, sparking the age-old banter between batters and bowlers.

KL Rahul predicted Bumrah would complain about the hardships of fast bowlers training in hot conditions, which proved accurate as Bumrah subsequently expressed the challenges faced by bowlers during high-intensity training.

Rahul will lead India in the 3-match ODI series starting January 17th in the absence of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who are taking a break. He also returns to the Test side for the series starting December 26th. Though dropped from the last two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the World Test Championship final, Rahul is expected to keep wickets in South Africa due to KS Bharat’s inconsistent performance.
