During the ongoing first T20I between South Africa and India at Johannesburg, Indian skipper Virat Kohli was handed a reprieve by Farhaan Behardien. Kohli came in to bat at No. 4 and did not waste much time. Just like the earlier batsmen, he too got going from the word go.

Behardien dropped Kohli

In a bid to put an end to the assault by the Indian batsmen, JP Duminy introduced wristspin in the form of Tabraiz Shamsi in the eighth over.

On his first ball itself, Shamsi provided the opportunity to dismiss Kohli as he chipped the ball straight into the hands of Behardien at long-on. However, Behardien dropped a sitter to the opposition captain.

Kohli followed the chance with a four and a six in the over as India scored 14 runs off it. Kohli ended up scoring 26 (20) with the help of two fours and a six.
