India and Royal Challengers Bangalore’s captain, Virat Kohli, was once again angry on the field. This time not on any player or umpire, but on the sight screen. Royal Challengers had won the toss and elected to field against Kolkata Knight Riders in Kolkata.
Chasing a paltry 132 to win, Chris Gayle and Kohli came out to face the white cherry. There were constant disturbances in front of the sight screen, which were not liked by both the openers.
In what the first delivery that Kohli faced, and third of the innings, he edged the ball straight to Manish Pandey, who was fielding at second slip. It was clear by the looks of him that he was disappointed with the sight screen. The way in which he threw the his gloves and bat in the dugout confirmed the news.
RCB eventually lost the match by 82 runs. They got bundled out on 49, which is the lowest IPL total ever. During the post-match presenation, Kohli admitted that he was not happy with the disturbances in front of the sight screen but blamed his players for the loss.
