During the crunch game between, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Mumbai Indians (MI), Krunal Pandya got a crucial wicket of Mayank Agarwal in the 14th over of the chase. Earlier in the game, visitors gave a target fo 178 to Punjab in their quota of 20 overs.
Despite losing Chris Gayle in the 8th over of the inning, Punjab was cruising well as Mayank Agarwal was able to score at least one boundary in every over. However, the 13-over mark they were past the total of 110 and the win was quite in their site.

Adding to the same, on the first ball of the 14th over, Agarwal smacked a huge six off Pandya. The ball was angling towards the middle, but it wasn’t full enough to deny Agarwal elevation after he gets his front leg out of the way and swings through the line for a flat six to the right of long-off.

However, on the third ball of the over, Krunal got the wicket of Mayank and ironically he also had got the wicket of Gayle. He delivered a back of a length delivery which kept going with the angle and cramps up Mayank, who was always looking to stay leg-side of the ball. Agarwala punched the ball hard but ends up popping it back to the bowler at around chest height, who took a wonderful reflex catch.

Earlier, in the game, Quinton de Kock scored a half-century in the first innings, as he helped his team to reach a total of 176/8. In the bowling department, Murugan Ashwin did the trick for Punjab as he finished the game with the spell of 2/25.
