Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are locking horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in the fourth match of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya are both starting their captaincy stint with new IPL franchises. After winning the toss, Hardik decided to bowl first and his bowlers didn’t disappoint as LSG were reeling at 29/4 at one stage. However, Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni scored the fifties to take LSG to a respectable total of 158/6.
Gujarat Titans had lost their opening two wickets pretty quickly as Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar were sent back to the hut by Dushmantha Chameera. Gujarat is chasing 159 against Lucknow Super Giants. Earlier, who would have thought that LSG will be able to get past the 50-run mark after being 29/4 inside the first six overs against Gujarat Titans in the fourth game at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday.

However, Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni rose to the challenge and both batters scored fifties to help KL Rahul’s side post 158/6 in the 20 overs. Hooda departed after scoring 55 while Badoni played a knock of 54. Earlier, Mohammed Shami wreaked havoc for the Gujarat Titans as he dismantled the Lucknow Super Giants top-order. The pacer dismissed KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, and Manish Pandey.

Varun Aaron also chipped in with a wicket of Evin Lewis and Gujarat lost four wickets inside the powerplay. Earlier, Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers for GT as he dismantled the Lucknow Super Giants top-order by dismissing KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, and Manish Pandey. LSG had got a steady start as their bowling has caused a certain amount of damage to Gujarat Titans. However, Krunal Pandya went on to pick the wicket of Hardik Pandya. But he decided not to celebrate the wicket and instead gave a shocking expression. It was because Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya are brothers.
