Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Evin Lewis became the first wicket for George Garton in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Wednesday in Dubai. A lot of credit for Lewis’ dismissal goes to the wicketkeeper KS Bharat, who took a difficult catch. On the first ball of the 12th over of RR’s innings, Evin Lewis mistimed a pull to a slower short delivery from the left-arm fast bowler.

The ball took the top edge of Lewis’ bat and went high, swirling up in the air; KS Bharat called early to got for the catch and managed to hold onto it to complete a good catch, giving RCB the wicket of the half-centurion. George Garton, the Englishman who had replaced Kyle Jamieson in the playing XI, was taken to the cleaners by Evin Lewis during powerplay overs, but then managed to have the last laugh over the Caribbean opener.
