Kuldeep Yadav made a sensational comeback to India’s T20I squad, stunning fans with a game-changing spell in the Asia Cup 2025 clash against the UAE. The left-arm wrist-spinner produced a magical over, claiming three wickets in just six balls, leaving the hosts completely rattled on their home turf.

Returning alongside Jasprit Bumrah, who had already made an impact earlier with a trademark delivery to dismiss the UAE opener, Kuldeep showcased why he remains one of India’s most lethal bowlers in white-ball cricket. Introduced into the attack after the power play, Kuldeep struck in the very first over of his spell, turning the momentum firmly in India’s favour.

The drama unfolded in the ninth over when Rahul Chopra mistimed a tossed-up delivery and was caught in the deep. Kuldeep then removed UAE skipper Muhammad Waseem, who was threatening to stabilise the innings, but fell for just 19 runs.
The highlight of the over came with the dismissal of Harshit Kaushik, who was completely deceived by a perfectly executed flipper that spun back sharply, leaving him bamboozled.
