Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav recently marked a major personal milestone by getting engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in an intimate ceremony in Lucknow on June 4. The private celebration, held in the presence of close family and friends, also saw attendance from a few cricketers from Uttar Pradesh, including teammate Rinku Singh.

The couple exchanged rings in a traditional setting at a local venue, drawing warm wishes from fans and members of the cricketing fraternity. Vanshika, who hails from Shyam Nagar, currently works with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). The news of the engagement comes at a significant time in Kuldeep’s life, both personally and professionally.

Fresh off his IPL 2025 campaign with the Delhi Capitals, Kuldeep had a steady season, picking up 15 wickets in 14 matches at a respectable economy of 7.07. His contributions helped DC finish fifth on the table, narrowly missing the playoffs.

But it’s beyond the IPL that Kuldeep has truly made his mark. He played a crucial role in India’s title runs at the 2024 T20 World Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy, reaffirming his value as a dependable match-winner. Looking ahead, Kuldeep is set for a key role in India’s upcoming five-Test series in England, starting June 20 at Headingley.
