Kuldeep Yadav Denies The Rumors After His Statement On MS Dhoni

The Indian chinaman, Kuldeep Yadav has clarified his statement which he made in regards to former Indian skipper MS Dhoni. A news agency had quoted the youngster saying that were a “lot of times” when even Dhoni “goes wrong” with his suggestions.

On Wednesday, however, Yadav took to Instagram to clarify his statement, saying that it was “another made up controversy and that the “news is total false”. The southpaw, who is part of the India squad for the 2019 World Cup to be held in England and Wales, signed off his Instagram story with “#Much respect Mahi bhai”.

Here is the glimpse of the story posted by Kuldeep: “Here we go for another made up controversy from our media who loves to make tangy rumors for no reason. Just want to throw some light on the issue that has been proliferated by some people, that the news is total false. I didn’t give any inappropriate statement about anyone”.

During the sidelines of the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards, Kuldeep said, “There are a lot of times he (Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him.” However, after this statement, he was immensely criticized on social media from the fans following his comments on the former India captain.

Dhoni has led India to wins at 2007 ICC World Twenty20, 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. In the ICC World Cup 2019, which is scheduled to commence on May 30 in England and Wales, Dhoni is expected to play a crucial role in the Indian team that will be led by Virat Kohli.

Kuldeep has been included in the 15-member squad for the World Cup along with wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Part-time spinners Kedar Jadhav and Ravindra Jadeja have also been included in the World Cup squad.

In 2019, Yadav played just three ODI in England, claiming nine wickets with best figures of 6/25. India will start their World Cup 2019 campaign against South Africa on June 5.
