India spinner Kuldeep Yadav hosted a grand wedding reception in Lucknow on Tuesday, bringing together a distinguished mix of political leaders and cricketing personalities. The 31-year-old had earlier tied the knot with his childhood friend Vanshika Chadha in an intimate ceremony in Mussoorie on March 14, but the reception turned into a high-profile celebration.

Held at The Centrum in Lucknow, the event featured prominent figures, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, and India head coach Gautam Gambhir. Their attendance added significant weight to the occasion, highlighting Kuldeep’s stature both on and off the field.

Several of Kuldeep’s teammates also marked their presence, including Ravindra Jadeja, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Rishabh Pant, along with former India opener Shikhar Dhawan. One of the most touching moments of the evening came when Kuldeep and Vanshika sought blessings from Jadeja and his wife Rivaba, a gesture that reflected traditional values amid the glamour.

Kuldeep made a stylish entry with Vanshika in a vintage Rolls-Royce, setting the tone for an elegant evening. Dressed in a sharp black suit, the spinner complemented his bride, who looked graceful in a cream-coloured saree. The reception, set against soothing classical music, created a warm and celebratory atmosphere for guests.

Other notable attendees included BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla and senior state officials, further underlining the significance of the gathering.

On the cricketing front, Kuldeep continues to remain an integral part of India’s white-ball setup. He was a member of the historic squad that successfully defended the T20 World Cup title, becoming the first team to do so. Although his role in the tournament was limited, he made an impact with a disciplined spell against Pakistan in a crucial match.

Kuldeep will now shift focus to IPL 2026, where he is set to represent Delhi Capitals, aiming to carry forward his momentum into the new season.
