England had a good start as their openers Jason Roy and Jos Buttler provided a 50-run opening partnership. Even after the opening partnership was broken by the pacer Umesh Yadav, England had still a good run-rate due to Buttler’s responsible stretched batting.

England was once batting on 95/1 in 11.2 overs while Kuldeep Yadav started to present his brilliant bowling skills. First, he dismissed Alex Hales, who struggled to bat against the Indian bowlers as he scored just 8 off 18 balls, and then he dismissed English skipper Eoin Morgan, Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root in very quick successions. While Morgan scored only 7 off 6 balls, both Bairstow and Root were stumped out for golden ducks in the same over.

In this game, Kuldeep Yadav’s last victim was the England opener Buttler who played the responsible 69 runs knock off 46 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes.

Due to his brilliant bowling performance, England, who was once favourite to put 180+ total on the board, only managed to score 159/8 at the end of 20 overs.
