Currently, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are locking horns with each other in the third match of the super-12 stage of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 in Sharjah. After winning, the toss, the Sri Lankan skipper, Dasun Shanaka asked the Proteas to bat first and his bowlers failed to do much as the Tigers were comfortable at 41/1 in the powerplay itself, however, Lahiru Kumara was the one who took teh only wicket of Liton Das in the powerplay owing to a brilliant catch by the skipper.

Liton attempted a creative shot but failed to execute it was a and soon after the dismissal Kumara and Das engaged in a spicy exchange. The umpires have to hustle forward as the players were making physical contact, pushing, shoving, and trash-talking.

It seemed like it was an NBA/NFL game rather than the T20 World Cup! As for the wicket itself, Liton Das backed away from his leg trying to drive a full ball over the ring but picked out mid-off at head height. However, a better report of the wicket will be written by teh match-refere after the match.

Here is the video of the dismissal and the banter which followed on:
