The New Zealand cricket team has suffered a huge blow as their fiery pacer, Lockie Ferguson has been ruled out of the remaining part of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 taking place in UAE and Oman. As per the reports of ESPNCricinfo, he has suffered a grade-two tear on the right calf.
Lockie Ferguson played his part in carrying Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 final and would have brought a lot of value having played in these conditions. Adam Milne, who was in the reserves, will be replacing Ferguson in the main squad, he won’t be available to play until ICC approval has been received, making him unavailable for the game against Pakistan.
