The month of April and May is packed with the Indian Premier League so much so that not many movies release during this period. Film producers are very well aware of the fact that not many people will watch their movie in times when cricket’s most celebrated T20 league is in progression. But there are exceptions. Aren’t there?

One such special case was ‘Bahubali 2: The Conclusion’, a sequel to the 2015-film, ‘Bahubali: The Beginning’. Be it collection, popularity or direction, the South Indian blockbuster has broken all previous cinema records of the nation.

In a mash-up video which has gone viral, fans have linked former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni with Baahubali. The Ranchi-born cricketer has been portrayed as Mahendra Bahubali in the video. Uploaded by YouTube channel WALL MASK, while the video has dialogues from the epic movie, it contains visuals from different parts of Dhoni’s life.

Dhoni might not be having the best of IPL seasons in terms of scoring runs but the video has once again proved that fans of Dhoni still believe in him and are waiting for the day when his bat will once again score the runs it used to.
