Sri Lankan fast bowler, Lasith Malinga, was left surprised when he saw his lookalike on the giant screen.
It happened in the 15th over when Malinga was bowling his last over. His lookalike was shown on the screen, watching him even Malinga could not stop his laughter. Malinga ended with figures of 4-0-33-2. Gujarat Lions managed to score 153-9 in 20 overs after being reduced to 101-7 in the 16th over. A lot of credit for their recover went to Andrew Tye and James Faulkner. Teenager Ishan Kishan played well for his 48 (35) with the help of six fours and two sixes.
Lasith Malinga was brought into the playing eleven for today’s match in place of Mitchell Johnson, who is ill. He was seen in a different role today as he completed his spell with five more overs to go in the innings. Watch the video of the funny incident:
