Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fast bowler, Deepak Chahar was seen proposing is his girlfriend Jaya on Thursday after the match against the Punjab King (PBKS) which was the 53rd game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Chahar has now officially confirmed his relationship. However, according to the recent reports of  Zoom TV Entertainment, Deepak had been dating Jaya for quite some time.

Zoom TV’s reports dated August 31, 2021, claimed: “Reportedly, the duo is very serious about one another and are even planning on getting married. According to a source close to Bollywood Life, the pair is planning to do a roka very soon and Jaya may also go to Dubai to be with Deepak. Deepak apparently has also has introduced her to the entire cricket team.”

Malti Chahar, who is the elder sister of Deepak was delighted after seeing the video of his proposal went viral. And soon after Jaya accepted the proposal, Deepak’s father went on to reveal that it was Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s idea to make the proposal after the game.

Initially, Chahar wanted to propose after the playoffs, but Dhoni wanted him to propose after the last league game. Malti Chahar was the first to reveal that Deepak has made his engagement official with Jaya. Initially, some fans guessed that Jaya was a foreigner.

Deepak Chahar will now be plying his trade for the CSK in the IPL 2021 Playoffs. The all-rounder will look forward to ensuring that the Chennai Super Kings reach the final and record their fourth title win. Currently, CSK is on a 3-match losing streak in the 2021 edition of the tournament.
