He has averaged 307 playing for India A against South Africa and only got out once. Definitely, he would love to leave no stone unturned to fix a spot on the team.

India gave a clinical performance in the first ODI clinching the victory by 9 wickets. Dhawan and Kohli’s partnership did all the damage. Earlier Axar Patel did his best ODI performance taking 3 wickets.
India skipper clarified on what the team will look for in future.
“It’s two years to go for the World Cup and now is the time to give players certain roles, get them into the groove and make them understand what we need to do. For us it’s all about when you want to start and experiment as a team,” Kohli had said.
“Criticism will come along the way. You try things and lose, and people will say that it shouldn’t have been done. But we should be ready to embrace challenges and ready to take risks… ready to even lose a few games while trying out something,” he concluded.
