Manish Pandey backed his unbeaten 29 in the first T20 International against South Africa with a half-century in the following game. Amidst the regular wicket falls, Pandey stands tall and thrashed Proteas bowling line-up in all part of the ground.
South Africa put the Indian batsmen to bat first on a moist wicket, which just saw a heavy downpour. The ball was swinging in both ways and the visitors lost their three wickets cheaply when Pandey came out to bat. He first held India’s forte along with Suresh Raina and shared a 45-run stand for the fourth wicket before stitching another crucial partnership with Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

The middle-order batsman warmed the bench throughout the One Day International series but finally got an opportunity in the T20I leg. He gave a boost to the Indian innings with a 19-run over off Chinaman Tabraiz Shamsi, including a four and two towering sixes.
He reached to his second T20I fifty in just 33 balls and steadied India’s ship which was tilting both ways after some early jolts.
If India wants a good score he needs to finish the innings, who has reached to 133/4 after 16 overs.
