Test matches are long and sometimes too tiring, especially for a team that has been on the ground for two straight not being able to get wickets for nearly 150 overs. In this time, the team needs something magical to give them energy. During the historic first test match between Pakistan and Australia at Rawalpindi, the visitors are having a hard time dismissing the hosts. While Imam-Ul-Haq scored 157, Azhar Ali too crossed the 180-run mark.

Ali, after stitching a 208-run stand with Imam in 522 balls, made another partnership of 101 runs with skipper Babar Azam for the third wicket in 157 balls. The duo didn’t look like going anywhere as Australia was toiling hard to get a breakthrough. The energy level goes down in this situation – fielding for nearly 150 overs, not getting any wickets – but Marnus Labuschagne is not any other player.

He brings excitement and energy into the team and this time too, Labuschagne stepped up. Azam clipped the ball towards mid-wicket and tried to steal a run but Marnus Labuschagne wasted no time in grabbing the ball and immediately threw it towards the bowlers’ end. It was a perfect throw from Labuschagne as Babar Azam was caught short of his crease.
