In the third ODI between Pakistan and England, the host spinner, Matt Parkinson clean bowled the visiting opener Imam-ul-Haq with absolute beauty. Ahead of the final ODI, the visitors had lost both the games, however, in the third ODI, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam lost the toss and was invited to bat first at Edgbaston Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. the stand-in English skipper, Ben Stokes’decision to bowl first seemed a good one initially.
Opener Fakhar Zaman was departed quickly by England bowler Saqib Mahmood in the fifth over. But Imam-ul-Hak and captain Babar Azam built a strong partnership and added 92 runs before Matt Parkinson got Imam out with dream delivery. Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam both looked settled and destined for a big total. Ben Stokes decided to go with Mat Parkison in the 26th over and he did his job. The leg-spinner got Imam clean bowled on the fifth delivery of the over with beauty.

Parkinson delivered a bowling outing the off-stump, but the sharp turn was very surprising for everyone watching. Imam-ul-Haq misread it, had his right foot well off the line and the ball missed his bat which was angeled in the defensive shot to the ground. That was something from Matt Parkinson, who literally bend it like Beckham. His delivery reminded commentator Shane Warne.

After the exciting dismissal of Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam build another partnership with Mohammad Rizwan for the third wicket. They both managed to add 179 runs and in the meantime, Babar completed his century as well, which Rizwan was dismissed after scoring 74.

Babar Azam scored another century as he played a phenomenal knock of now playing on 159 off 139 balls. Eventually, Pakistan only managed to reach a total of 331. England won the match with 7 wickets in hand as James Vince scored a century.
