GT had a shaky start as they lost Shubman Gill in the third over itself owing to a brilliant catch by Glenn Maxwell in the second innings. Maxwell was again responsible for the second wicket as well, as he send back Matthew Wade on his bowling with an LBW decision.

On the second ball of the last over of the powerplay. the on-field umpire gave Matthew Wade LBW, but he decided to take a review. Maxwell had bowled a length ball, which was angling towards the stumps. Wade moved across and want on his knee to sweep the ball towards fine-leg. There’s no bat involved and the ball-tracker shows it would have gone on to hit the middle and leg.
