Matthew Wade Witnessed An Unfortunate Suicidal Run-out Against RR

Rajasthan Royals (RR) are locking horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in match 24 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. GT wicket-keeper batter, Matthew Wade got run out in the second over after a mix with Shubman Gill before Kuldeep Sen dismissed Shankar in the second over.

After winning the toss, RR skipper, Sanju Samson expectedly choose to bowl and he confirmed that James Neesham will make his debut, and will replace Trent Boult, who has a slight niggle. GT, on the other hand, made a couple of changes — Yash Dayal replaces Nalkande for Titans and Vijay Shankar replaces Sai Sudharsan. Shubman Gill and Matthew Wade opened the batting for Gujarat Titans.

However, in the second over itself, Gujarat witnessed the first wicket in form of Matthew Wade getting run-out. Shubman Gill just tapped the ball and decided to go for a run and Wade responded. Wade who was running at the danger end was caught short of his crease as Van der Dussen swooped in from the cover region and sent a lightning fast-throw to send the Gujarat Titans keeper packing.
