Unfortunately, Mayank Agarwal had to return to the pavilion on the no-ball. Captain Rohit Sharma might’ve had made a mistake in it as well. Actually, Vishwa Fernando was doing the second over of the innings for Sri Lanka. Mayank was at the crease and he played the fourth ball of the second over while in front of the wicket, but Sri Lankan made an appeal for the LBW.

Although the umpire turned down the LBW appeal, Mayank Agarwal attempted to steal the run. However, in the replays, it was shown that Rohit Sharma never had an intention of running, but despite his resistance, Mayank almost reached the other end.

By the time Mayank came back, the Sri Lankan wicketkeeper and players decided to take a DRS for LBW call, but Jayawickrama sent the ball to wicketkeeper Niroshan Dickwella, who blew the bails off the stumps.

This appeal did not work, but the decision of the umpire did come in the form of a no-ball, and in such a situation, on the basis of the rules, Mayank was given a run out on the no-ball. If the umpire had given out bBW, then the ball would have been a dead ball and he was not out.
