The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 International series against Bangladesh. This selection has brought some fresh faces and exciting returns to the national setup, with notable performances in the domestic circuit and the Indian Premier League (IPL) being rewarded.
One of the most anticipated additions to the squad is young pace sensation Mayank Yadav. He caught everyone’s attention during the last IPL season with his remarkable pace and precision for the Lucknow Super Giants. His maiden call-up to the national team is a testament to his impressive skills and consistency on the field, and fans are eager to see how he performs at the international level.
In a welcome comeback, mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy has also been included in the squad. Known for his deceptive deliveries, Chakaravarthy has had a roller-coaster journey in international cricket, and this recall provides him another opportunity to showcase his talent.
