On the other hand, Brett Lee was in India as a part of the English commentary panel for the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, he is currently in the Maldives along with many other Australian cricketers, coaches, commentators and match officials after the BCCI and the IPL governing council has decided to call off the tournament for an indefinite time period after many players got infected by the coronavirus inside the bio-bubble.

It started with Kolkata Knight Riders’ Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep warrior and later Chennai Super Kings’ bowling coach L Balaji, SunRisers Hyderabad’s Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi Capitals’ Amit Mishra too joined in the infected players’ list which led the board to take the decision to call it off now.
